Well Composed

Time for a little...composure.  Or composition, for that matter.  This week, it's all about really taking time to see, break down, and analyze what is in the frame.  We are learning to direct the eye, think about line and movement, to use space wisely, and honor the subject matter for maximum impact.  This assignment focused on discovering rule of thirds, symmetry, triangle forms, and diagonal lines.  Here are some highlights!  Woo-hoo!  Carry on, folks!

ISO Fabulosity

Moving right along!  We're getting a pretty fabulous handle on shutter speed and depth of field.  This batch of beauties are from our assignment dealing with ISO sensitivity.  The idea was to work in varied lighting conditions and choose the appropriate ISO rating, while still closely minding what we've learned about exposure, F-stops and shutter speeds.  I'd say we were pretty successful.  You guys are kind-of rockstars.
