Well, we've only just begun!  I must say I'm pretty excited about this...what a great start!  This is a lot of information to take in at first, and you guys are handling it really well.  Here are some of the strongest images from our first in-class assignments on aperture and shutter speed.  These are strong examples of shallow depth of field, great depth of field, stopped motion, or use of motion. It'll be fun to reference these at the end of the semester and see how far you've all progressed.  Thanks for putting forth the effort on these! I'm excited to see what you all do next.

  2. The sixth photo from the last one is very stylized. The background shows the motion while the skater is in focus, which makes the person seam fluid and streamlined.

  3. While looking up "painting with light" on google (amazing you really need to try it) i came up this awesome website (about another website). It uses an anatomy video to make ghosts!
