My creative project was done in bright colors. It had various fairy tale and story theme aspects. The aim was to create an environment of magic and awe, which should be portrayed through the models in the photos. The photos goes into a sequence of the storyteller telling a story about the character (woman in red) to a small boy. The "real" landscape merges with the fairytale landscape and begins to focus on the heroine.

I love these photos, because the bright color pallet reminds me of Alice in Wonderland and the older version of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. :). These pictures are so energetic and exciting! :)
ReplyDeleteI love how whimsical these are and the bright colors you used - it really does give the sense of it being a fairy tale of sorts. If you would have chosen a less vibrant color pallet or put them in black and white, so much of the magic would have been lost. I think that to REALLY focus the viewer's attention on the main character of your story it might have been cool to use a narrower depth of field, have her in focus and the background a bit more hazy and dreamlike. It might also be nice to have another shot of the little boy at the end to sort of bring it full circle and remind us that it was a story he was being told. But all in all I really loved this set and the beautiful idea behind it.
